The Andhra Pradesh government prepared plans to provide basic facilities in farmers plots in phase-wise manner. And even better, the government is keen on completing all the works within three years.
The AP government is fulfilling each promise given to the farmers who gave up their lands for capital city. Lands in 24 revenue villages have been acquired and allotment to farmers plots was completed.
Now the government is going to provide basic facilities like roads, drainage, rain water, power and others within three years. For this, eight villages were divided into three zones in the first phase to develop them. These villages are Anantavaram, Nekkallu, Sakhamuru, Nelapadu, Tulluru, Rayapudi and Kondamarajupalem.
The government estimated that Rs 2,982 crores – Rs 1,014 crore for first zone, Rs 1,126 crore for second zone and Rs 841 crore for third zone – is needed for the purpose. According to statistics these villages have 5.5 lakh population.
Minister Narayana assured of providing basic facilities with Hudco funds.
