Social Media War is continuing between TDP and YCP in Andhra Pradesh State. Based on TDP leaders’ complaint that YCP leaders are insulting their party leaders on social media by their vulgar comments, Tullur police filed a case against YCP follower and Political Punch website admin Inturi Ravi Kiran.
The cops filed SC and ST case also against Ravi Kiran for posting comments against Payakaraopet MLA (Vizag) Vangalapudi Anitha that would defame her.
Recently a Bengaluru software Engineer Impala Ravindra was arrested by Vizag police for posting anti-AP government comments on social media. But YCP IT division says that Ravindra is a fan of YCP but not a member of party.
TDP leaders allege that YCP leaders earlier targeted AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu but now they are also commenting against Nara Lokesh. TDP MLC TD Janardhan demanded the police to take action against YCP leaders who have posting videos and photos, sarcastic comments against Lokesh and TDP MLA Anita also complained against objectionable comments against her on social media.
Meanwhile, YCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy alleged that TDP leaders are filling illegal cases against those, who question Chandrababu government’s failures through social media. He also alleged that they are filing cases against YCP followers.
He reminded that Supreme Court former chief justice Markandeya Katju writing a letter to AP Chief Minister against filing false cases on those who questions the government. YCP started questioning the AP government through social media. Both ruling and Opposition parties have various accounts in social media.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has 10,16,964 Facebook followers while he has 2.07 lakh twitter followers and 1.80 lakh followers as chief minister. YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has 1.10 followers in Twitter and 2.61 lakh followers in Facebook.
