The TDP circles in Andhra Pradesh are abuzz with speculations of a likely AP Cabinet expansion or reshuffle of state council of ministers on February 10. Several aspirants are happy as the party is out to do justice to all.
It was said that the AP cabinet expansion may take place on February 9 or 10. Now the new buzz is that it may take place on Friday (February 10).
Senior leaders Kala Venkatrao, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Dhulipalla Narender and Vundi MLA Sivaramaraju are expecting minister post. MLAs Bhuma Nagireddy, Jyothula Nehru, Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Sujaya Rangarao and Amarnath Reddy, who deserted YSR Congress Party to join Telugu Desam are also in the minister race.
Meanwhile the list of aspirants for MLCs is also lengthy. Manthena Satyanarayana Raju from West Godavari, Telugu Yuvatha leader, missed the MLC chance earlier. Then TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu promised him a second chance.
Dalit leader and former minister JR Pushpa Raj, Kurnool district TDP leader Somishetty Venkateswarlu and Gonugutla Koteswar Rao are likely to get MLC ticket.
Meanwhile the outgoing MLCs are also trying their luck to get a second chance. They include Mandali deputy chairman Satish Reddy, council whip Rammohan, East Godavar district MLC Boddu Bhaskar Rao, Mettu Govinda Reddy of Anantapuram district and senior leader Pratibha Bharati.
The aspirants are trying their level best to woo the chief, along with their bio-data. Party chief is confident of doing justice to all since there are more number of vacancies.
