Vijayawada, December 1
Of late, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is keeping the officials busy with his review meetings. From the Indian Science Congress meetings scheduled in January to Chandranna Beema Scheme, he reviewed various issues.
Naidu said that a four-minister committee was setup to supervise the Indian Science Congress meeting, for which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the chief guest. The meetings will be held at Tirupati from January 3 to 7.
The CM told the officials to prepare action plans to ensure that the people will get the details of Chandranna Beema scheme and its implementation on time. He warned of stringent action if there is a delay in issuing certificates or payment of compensation.
He held a tele-conference with bankers and assured of taking measures to ease the smaller currency problems by December 1. He also reviewed the working of income generating departments. He chided the officers for failing to reach the targets despite providing district-wise plans for tax collections. He suggested the officials to improve their working style.
He said the exchequer’s income was decreased due to temporary stopping of a few tax collections. The employees salaries and pensions would be credited in bank accounts, he assured and suggested people who do not have bank accounts to open now.
