Vijayawada, January 6
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu keeping TDP leaders and cadre always busy with a series of programmes. He organized Jana Chaitanya Yatra, immediately followed by party membership drive.
After that all ministers, party MLAs and senior leaders toured the State from grass root level for the past 50 days. When all the party leaders are trying to relax for some time, party chief gave a call for Janma Bhoomi programme. Within a short span of 10 days, the leaders again had to get busy with public programmes.
Chandrababu Naidu plans to make all the leaders and party cadre to be available to the people from village level. His intention is that the leaders should mingle with public, know their problems and solve them.
Party cadre and leaders are campaigning widely about the government’s development and welfare schemes. As part of this, Jana Chaitanya Yatra was held and now Janma Bhoomi programme.
Everything is fine till this point regarding Jana Chaitanya yatra. But the real problem seems to have started now. People had poured out their problems and issues to ministers, MLAs and MLCs during the yatra. Thousands of applications came regarding pension, new ration cards, residential plots, house construction and others. All the leaders gave assurances of solving all their issues and forgot about them.
Now once again they are going into the public with Janma Bhoomi programme. The public are questioning and pressurising them about their applications and requesting to solve them at the earliest.
The leaders are trying to convince the public that they are trying to solve their problems by discussing with officials. But the people seem to have lost faith.
TDP leaders are hesitating to go back to the public again as they are afraid of being targeted about problems and issues submitted during Jana Chaitanya yatra.
