Drastic dip in temperature and chilly winds shivers people to remain indoors in Vizag. Especially people are not letting children to go out in evenings. Even in houses also they have to wear sweaters.
Public are not coming out of the warmth of their houses. Except a few morning walkers, there is no public on the roads after 7 am. Vehicles parked outside are getting drenched in snow.
Except Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Telangana, North Costa, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and other countries are experiencing chilly waves.
Minimum temperature of 16 degree C was recorded in Vizag airport. This is the second time lowest temperature was recorded. After 12 am chilly breeze was blowing followed by the mist and fog at dawn shivers people. At the same time day temperatures also going to the maximum. Met officials said same situation would continue for another two or three days.
Extreme cold weather is creating problems for commuters in Lambasingi, Chintapalli, Paderu, Araku and other areas in Vizag.
