Kerala government announced that it is allotting land for Telangana Bhavan in Sabarimala within three months for the Telangana devotees who are visiting the holy shrine. The chief ministers of Telangana and Kerala signed an MoU in this regard.
Kerala government representative has assured Telangana Ministers Indrakaran Reddy, Dr. C Laxma Reddy and government chief whip Koppula Eswar that land will be allotted at Neelakkal.
Lakhs of devotees from Telangana have been visiting Sabarimala annually since several years and even more throng to have Makara Jyothi darshan.
It is understood that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had discussed the issue with former Kerala CM Oommen Chandy during his visit to Hyderabad a few months ago. KCR had then assured Chandy of reciprocating with facilitating construction of Kerala Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Also KCR informed Chandy that they want to construct a guest house in Sabarimala for Ayyappa devotees from Telangana and requested him to allot land for the purpose. So Kerala Govt to Allot Land for Telangana Bhavan in Sabarimala
