Lucknow, February 8
With Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) vying to regain power in Uttar Pradesh, the elections scene has heated up. With the alliance of SP and Congress, the cadre of both parties is working with increased enthusiasm.
A new strength is clearly visible in Samajwadi Party, which has been faced a setback with family disputes. On the other hand, hopes of Congress, which was left behind in UP for several years, are rising slowly. The cadre raised slogans ‘Karan, Arjun’ at a joint rally of SP leader Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Meerut.
Akhilesh was shocked at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for including Mayawati’s name in scam. He reminded that BJP shared power with Mayawati three times in the past.
Rahul Gandhi also lashed out at Modi and accused him of dividing the UP people. He gave a call to the public to teach a befitting lesson to the PM.
BSP chief Mayawati is single handedly taking out a whirlwind campaign tour in the State.
