Washington, January 20

Donald Trump was on Friday sworn-in as the 45th US President and promised to adopt “America First” as his governance mantra and transfer power from Washington DC to the people.

He vowed to eradicate terrorism from the face of the earth. He said “My sole aim is to rebuild America and to provide jobs to Americans. I will do whatever the public wish for. My victory is public victory.”

“We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and hire American. The time for action has arrived. We will make America proud again. All Americans are patriots.”

Meanwhile, anti-Trump protestors created ruckus in several states and staged agitations. They raised slogans that they do not want Trump as their president. Tension prevailed at several places following violent incidents.
