Hyderabad, May 20:

After tasting huge success in five states, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) started election campaigning in Telangana State, two years ahead of the general elections. Already three central ministers made whirlwind tour in three districts. Now, the party president Amit Shah is going to tour Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhongir and Hyderabad for three days.

His tour will begin from May 22 to 25. Amit Shah will reach Hyderabad from New Delhi on May 22 on flight and will make a road trip to Teratpalli village of Chanduru mandal in Nalgonda district via Choutuppal, Narayanapur and Gattuppal.

He will console the then BJP secretary Gandagoni Mysaiah family, who died in naxals’ attack on March 27, 1999 and will garland his statue and pay tributes. He will enquire the locals about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule, schemes and implementation. Later he will meet party booth-level activists and will take lunch at 1.30 pm along with dalits.

By 3.30 pm he will reach Nalgonda via Munugodu and will hold discussion with about 400 selected intelligent people at Stay In hotel at 4 pm. At 5.30 pm, he will meet state and district-level leaders. Later he will meet VIPs of both Telugu states.

After staying at R&B guest house or party office in Nalgonda, he will reach Velugupalli on May 23 and will unveil Pundit Deendayal statue there. He will christen Daligwada as Deendayalwada.


Amit Shah will go to Chinna Madaram village by 10.20 am and will monitor the implementation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s schemes. Party woman sarpanch will inspect 100 per cent implementation of toilets construction in houses, JanDhan scheme, Jan suraksha bema, Jeevana Jyothi and other schemes.

At 10.50 the BJP leader will meet booth-level members at Pedda Devulapalli village and will have his lunch along with the villagers. He will leave for Nalgonda and will  have interaction with the media in the afternoon. Later he will meet Telangana OBC union leaders at Lakshmi Gardens at 5.30 pm. Later in the night at about 8 pm he will meet the party leaders.

On May 24 morning, he will leave Nalgonda at 9 am and will go to Gundrampalli village of Chityal mandal. There he will meet the families of victims of rajakar movement during Nizam’s rule.

He will reach Bhongir guest house at 12 pm and meet Telangana elite people. He will reach Crystal Gardens in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad by the night and after dinner will meet as many as 3,000 booth-level party cadre. He will stay at Harita Plaza for the night and will leave to Vijayawada at 8 am on May 25 by flight.
