Hyderabad, January 10
Telangana Congress has been organizing protests in each and every district against the Centre’s demonetisation move. It is not leaving even a single opportunity to criticize the centre by focussing on public problems post note ban.
In Mahbubnagar district, Telangana Congress leaders and activists, led by AICC observer Vasanta Shivani, laid protests to the Collectorate. The activists in large numbers barged into the Collectorate, as there was no police security. Since the Collector was absent, they went to TRO chamber.
The police reacted and prevented them at that stage.
Vasanta Shivani lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi who she alleged like a dictator, scrapped high value currency notes and subjected the public to lots of troubles.
Alampur MLA Sampath Kumar fired at the way the notes were scrapped without consulting anyone.
