Hyderabad, November 3

After 15 years, the GHMC is reintroducing mobile courts in the City to deal with violations pertaining to trade licenses, littering, urinating and throwing garbage in public places.

First Metropolitan Magistrate P Anjaneyulu conducted the mobile court and collected Rs. 1,500 fine from 15 persons who violated GHMC rules.

MCH used to operate mobile courts before 2001. Now GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy directed to launch them again.

RTC runs mobile court to identify passengers travelling without tickets and impose fine. The GHMC mobile court will penalize those urinating in public and also people found littering or throwing garbage on roads, particularly by roadside vendors, hotels.
