Hyderabad, January 12

Rush at All India Industrial Exhibition, Numaish 2017, is slowly picking up. Extremely cold night temperatures since four days, several empty stalls and other reasons saw lesser number of visitors even 10 days after the exhibition commenced.

But the number is slowly picking up with visitors not only from all districts in Telangana but also from Andhra Pradesh coming to the exhibition. Especially the rush is doubled on weekends.

Observing the heavy rush, police have intensified the security set up. Staff from not only local police station and zonal stations, but also from other stations were deployed at the venue. Special vigilance was set up even as exhibition society has employed private marshals, who are checking the visitors thoroughly as is the norm over the recent years.

There are more than 2,700 stalls in Numaish Exhibition and visitors are more interested in purchasing household items, handlooms and those from other states. While children are enjoying train ride, giant wheel, dare-devil drivers, break dancers, laughing club and other sporty items.

Various art and cultural paintings, statues, special stalls explaining spirituality, yoga and meditation are attracting several visitors.

Due to demonetization, the exhibition society has made swiping machines available at almost all the stalls.

The walkers are provided extra security entering from Ajanta Gate circle as the entries are more at this gate following metro works. Traffic police are helping the people in crossing the busy road. Strict vigilance was set up at the entrance behind Gandhi Bhawan.
