The Opposition parties in Telangana in Fighting Mode. They are not leaving even a small opportunity to chastise the ruling TRS. They are raising voice against issues like ransacking Khammam market yard, police handcuffing farmers, accused in vandalizing market yard, shifting of dharna chowk in Hyderabad and the like.
The opposition parties speed up after the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao did not address in Osmania University centenary celebrations. Chilli farmers protesting for minimum support price, farmers destroying office furniture in Khammam market yard, police arresting farmers and bringing them to the court in handcuffs have stirred the political groups.
All parties criticized the ruling party as anti-farmer. PCC leaders complained to the Governor against the government in this regard.
Telugu Desam Party is organizing ‘Rythu Poru Yatra’ in Khammam. Party MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah demanded the government to cancel all the cases filed against farmers unconditionally.
BJP leaders also chided the government at its behavior towards farmers. The shifting of dharna chowk in Hyderabad has united all opposition parties, which have been waging separate wars for farmers problems.
Opposition Parties in TS in Fighting Mode. All parties staged a silent protest at Gun Park, stating that TRS, which has been a party of agitations, is suppressing agitations. Telangana JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram, leaders of people’s unions and others participated in the protest.
Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy faulted the handcuffing of farmers. TRS MP K Kavitha said that there are problems in agricultural wing everywhere and said farmers survey will be taken up soon.
Though KCR clarified that there would be no interim elections during Warangal public meeting, opposition parties are gearing up to face the elections any time.
