Hyderabad, February 16
Hyderabad police department records have revealed shocking information that road accidents are on rise in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Hundreds of victims are dying while many more are getting injured.
With increasing population in twin cities, the number of vehicles is also increasing, in fact the number of vehicles is surpassing the population. A single and simple fault is claiming several lives. Many families are losing bread-earners.
Despite several road safety rules, mishaps are continuing. Pedestrians are terrified to walk on the road, fearing vehicles may hit them from any direction.
The precautions are failing to prevent human loss in accidents. It is not an exaggeration to say that daily tens of people are dying in road accidents, causing concern to the officials. As per records, accidents are taking place almost every single minute.
Hyderabad and Cyberabad areas are in the first and second position in the number of accidents. People are living in continuous fear about their children, family members who go out for colleges, jobs and other works.
