Hyderabad, February 15

After the success of ‘Praja Poru’ in Kollapur in Nagarkurnool district, Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP) plans to highlight the alleged resentment of the people against the State government in the Praja Poru Bata at Gajwel.

After conducting first meeting in Kollapoor, the TTDP leaders intend to take up agitation programmes and a public meeting at Gajwel represented by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

TTDP leaders discussed the response to Kollapur meeting, the meeting to be held in Gajwel and public problems at a meeting in NTR Trust Bhawan. Party official spokesperson Narender Reddy criticized that Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, instead of answering the challenges of TDP at Kollapur meeting, was busy in praising Chief Minister KCR and forgot the public issues of his constituency.

Jupalli making unnecessary comments on Telugu Desam shows his inefficiency, he said. Narender Reddy further alleged that the State government lacks determination in implementing welfare schemes, except creating hype in campaigning their schemes.

Stating that the entire cabinet members turned puppets at the hands of CM, he challenged that ‘KCR has to answer our questions at Gajwel meeting’.

TTDP Telugu Mahila president Shobha Rani alleged that contractors and business tycoons are running the government. Hence, TTDP is questioning on behalf of the public which the government must answer. Almost all government hospitals in the State lack facilities and the TRS government is least bothered about the lives of poor people, she attacked.

She announced of staging a dharna at Vaidya Vidhana Parishad on February 18 protesting against the government’s negligence over poor people’s health.

Shobha Rani said they will explain the public the non-implementation of crop loan waiver and non-distribution of input subsidy during Praja Poru meetings.

‘We will question the Chief Minister also about the implementation of welfare schemes and double bedroom houses construction,’ she announced.
