Velimela Model School, Ramachandrapuram mandal, Sangareddy district, was selected for the Central government’s Entrepreneurship Development Programme. As part of the programme, special technological training will be imparted to 150 students of the school.
Special syllabus will be designed to give training to students on business and financial matters.
Along with schools in Punjab, Delhi and Gujarat states, Velimela and Shamshabad model schools were selected under pilot project. The training will commence from next academic year.
Experienced lecturers will teach management skills along with intermediate mediate syllabus to first year students. Inter students will be taught lessons of MBA level. Also these students will be taken on a visit to various companies on a study tour. Along with classrooms teaching, the students will be provided with the opportunity of learning practically also.
Employment, business, financial aspects will be explained. Faculty felt that these management skills will help students in their career growth.
Students expressed happiness that Velimela Model School was selected for the novel project, which would be beneficial for them in several ways.
